World Soccer Cup - USA vs Portugal

Early this morning, very early this morning. The mens soccer team played. Judging from my boyfriend's voicemail and the internet, it must have been a great game. USA 3 and Portugal 2. Way to go USA!!!!!! To my surprise, some people in my department know alittle something about soccer. I kind of spoiled the news to a co worker, she taped the game but had no knowledge of who won. Oooops! Thanks to my wonderful and well informed boyfriend, he's been explaining the sport to me. Now I have some sort of knowledge of soccer.

Morning Greeting!

As I was leaving my apartment on my way to work. Sitting perched on the bar of my glass door, was this little canary. It was sitting there looking right at me. Very quietly and carefully, I opened the door enough for me to squeeze through the door. This way I don't alarm the bird and have it fly in the building. It kept still and I have no idea, but I was talking to it. Yeah, I know silly me. It seemed tamed, cause it didn't fly away. I'm not sure if it belongs to anyone in my building. Poor little thing must have flown out of its cage. Awwwww

Viv Not Feeling Well =0(

I sit in front of the computer, eatting my shrimp won ton and typing today's post. I've been nursing a cold now, for quite some time. Lately, it's been a congestive cough that I have. Just took some Dayquil, so the medicine should be kicking in. It's taking me awhile to eat my soup, I have to cool it down. Funny, they have the shrimp and veggies on top and the rest of the stuff is noodles. Must say these noodles are awfully long. Hmmm maybe I should use my scissors? Heehee j/k. I shouldn't play with my food and just eat it.
Besides feeling a bit under the weather, my day has been hectic. Phone was ringing off the hook and there were too many requests. Uggggh!!!!! Calgon take me awaaaaaaaaay!!!!

Lakers and Nets

Yes, like I predicted the Los Angeles Lakers are western division champs. Beating the Sacramento Kings in overtime 112 - 106, I think that is the score. It took me awhile to deal with this loss but eh, I am okay. Kings had a great season, maybe next year? All I can say now is...Go Nets!!!!!!
