What do all these things have in common? The prices are going UP! It's official, Bart will be raising their fares as expected. Just read yesterday that AC Transit is going to raise there fares, this will be in effect in September. As we all knew, stamps will now be 37 cents. Caltrain has cut their weekend fares, but that won't effect me in anyway. Found a solution to that. Nothing can keep me away from the darling one. It will be 3 dollars surcharge if ticket is purchase aboard the train instead of the dollar charge. I remember now, to buy my tickets in advance. It's becoming very expensive to commute now these days. Wonder if Muni is going to start raising their fares?
Ok, I am not used to getting up at 5:30 A.M. and leaving my apartment at 6:15. To end up at work at 7:10 in the freaking morning! Well, it's Friday and the main reason why I got up this early??? Cause I am leaving work early, so I am making up the lost time. Not sure where my other co horts are?? Guess they are running late. I did have a slight delay on my ride to work. Would have been here early, but NOOOOO, good ol muni had to be slow in the tunnel. "sigh"
Instead of waking up at 5:45 A.M. for my usual shower to start the morning. I end up waking up at 5 minutes before 6 A.M.. This is a sign of a bad start for the day. My sweetie and I leave for the train and as I am walking to the platform, I don't have my cell phone! Not to worry, it's at my sweetie's place. On the ride to work, I dozed off for a bit. Must be the overcast skies making me do this or because the ride was smooth and quick. I arrived in San Francisco 5 minutes early than the usual time. Dealing with Muni is another story. I got to work just in time. Not sure if I can handle doing this commute daily. I will soon find out. Hope the rest of the day gets a bit better.
