Big Brother 3

Last night's episode was delayed. There was a preseason football game. If you want to know who won, San Diego won over the St. Louis Rams. I can't remember the score. Ok, back to BB3, Gerry did not use his power of veto and the nominations stay as they were. Chiara gets nominated out of the house. She seems very feisty person, but then she has a down to earth quality. Once the nomination was revealed, she started crying and got all emotional. Now, the couples have been separated. Jason became head of household. Gerry is getting on my nerve. He seems more of a drama queen than Marcellas, he has no manners. It's not very entertaining to hear someone fart, picks his teeth, never washes his hands and itches his butt. He was the only one who used his power of veto at one point to save Marcellas. He made a comment saying "I have two beautiful nephews who are black, I have friends who are gay, and then he said "though without sin, cast the first stone" and he started to cry. Oh, geeesh! This Saturday, unless there is a schedule change, Jason will make his choice of two people that he should be evicted.

Missed Last Night's Big Brother

Ms Viv was very tired and sleepy, so I missed it. I did get updated through their website. As predicted, Chiara was nominated and surprisingly her boyfriend Roddy was also nominated. Amy is out for revenge! Gerry won the power of veto. Lisa felt guilty that she wanted Amy back and she didn't vote for Eric to come back in the house. It's a game and it's no holds. You do what you can to survive. My favorites to win the game...Danielle "cause she is a local girl", Gerry "he's like a father figure, but has bad manners", and Jason "the innocent virgin, but has a hidden mean streak." Tonight, someone gets evicted!

Lights, Camera...Action!

Seems like they are filming something down my street. Someone told me that they are using one of the law firms, to film that new television show with the three attorneys. It's a David E. Kelly production, I can't remember the show's title. There are 3 trailers for makeup and wardrobe. One big trailer with cameras. Then there were 2 cops talking to one of the crew. I didn't see any actors. Bummer...

The MisAdventure Of My Refund Check

On August 7, I get a call from my dentist office. It seems that my insurance paid more than what they expected for some dental work, that I had done. She said in a few days, I will receive the check. I was thinking that it will be mailed that day. So, I called them on Tuesday and told them that I never received it. The receptionist told me that she mailed it last Friday so I should receive this week. Well, no refund, so I called today and spoke to the head administrator and she explained; it seemed that they were on vacation. When the girl was suppose to mail the envelope, she didn't know that it was an empty envelope and no check was in it. The administrator took the envelope away and she said she is going to drop it in the mail today. Wheeeew! I will wait and see.....

Niners Win One!

Finally, the stinking Niners win a preseason game. Not a high scoring game, Niners 12 Broncos 7, but eh they won. I saw part of it, but was busy organizing stuff for my big move. The game started to get boring to me, so I changed the channel and so a little of the Teen People Choice Award. It was ok but not that entertaining. They didn't have much musical acts and the show went by quick. Next thing you know it, it was time to hit the sack. Ho hum......

Bad Morning For Me =0(

I'm am standing at the bus stop, waiting for the train and I realized that I have no money! The pants I am wearing had no pockets, so normally I put my bills in my wallet. Well, I checked my wallet and it's empty. My bills were still at home and all I had were coins. So, I need to make a trip to the bank. "sigh" I hope the rest of my day isn't that bad.

Love And Marriage

Here are three couples, who had their differences, but who share the true meaning of a strong marriage.

Couple No. 1
He left home at a very young age to come to America. He singed up with the army reserve and married an American woman for citizenship. Not only did he serve in the army, but he was also a cook and musician. The saxophone and clarinet was his instruments. After a failed marriage and relationships, a female friend, introduced him to a woman from the Philippines through letters. He and this woman became pen pals. Eventually, they fell in love. He flew to the Philippines and presented the woman with a wedding ring. Few months later, they were married. He worked two jobs and she stayed home and raised six kids. There was occasional fights and disagreements. How he was able to tolerate with her, was something that no one can explain. She wasn't that crazy about children, but he loved children. The reason why they have stayed so long together, was in exchange for her giving him children, he would take care of her and give her a home. He was a caring, loving and understanding man. She had her moments of jealousy and negative thoughts. Whenever there was a fight, he would leave the house and take a walk or go to Reno. She thinks it's the 20 year difference (he was older) between them that is the reason why they argue. But even though they have had some rocky times together and constant bickering, they have managed to be together for 39 years and raised 6 wonderful children.

Couple No. 2
She was 16 and was dating a guy, that her parents were not happy with. Especially her mother. Her parents decided to send her over to the Philippines and made preparations for an arranged marriage. He was 20 and getting his degree in accounting. He courted her and then they were married. Original plan was to marry and have him get his citizenship in the United States. But the relationship got serious and they fell in love. He arrived in the U.S. four year later. They had a traditional wedding and she became pregnant. They struggled to make ends meet but at the end, things worked out. Not once has there been an argument, if there was, they never showed it or even discussed it. After 3 kids, "two in college and one in high school" and 25 years of marriage.

Couple No. 3
She was in the verge of being deported and her boyfriend decided to marry her, so that she can stay. She was 20 and she didn't get along with her boyfriend's family. But she had to make this sacrifice. Things didn't go well after the marriage and so there were affairs. At 22 she got pregnant and she was trying to make the marriage work, but it didn't work out. Eventually, the marriage ended up in divorce. She became a single mom. It was very difficult for her to find someone else to be part of her life, when she had a young child. Through countless dating and relationships, she met a man. Someone she worked with. She wasn't ready to get serious with anyone, since she had a young child to consider. He included her son with things that they did. They fell in love and he came to care and love her son. They were married and he legally adopted her son. Now after 2 kids later and 9 years of marriage. Love has prevailed.

Almost Settled In

Well, I am almost settled in to my new surroundings. Time has flown by. Am I ready for this big move?? YES. I did have some hesitation at first, but now that things are gradually been moved, it will soon become a reality. Everyone gets nervous when one has to move in a new place. I had this feeling when I first moved out of my parents house. This is weird, but before I met my sweetie, I would have conversations with friends about people living together. My rule was, that I would never live with a man unless we were married. Call me old fashioned. Well, that rule just went out the door. When two people are dating and living apart, the separation makes it exciting and intense to see that person. But then, when you are living with someone, you get to see that person in the morning and be with them at night. =0) So living together isn't a bad idea and I have a very wonderful man in my life, need I say more...
