Shame on me for not keeping up with Big Brother 3. Gerry, the parent and school teacher got evicted. It was a unanimous vote. 4-0. He told everyone not to bother walking him to the door, he knows the way. Later he gave everyone a hug and left to speak with the host of the show. Julie Chen. Gerry is hoping that Danielle will win the game. I hope so too. Now there are only 6 people left. This entry will be short and brief, cause I am getting a bit tired.
Recently I have seen the new commercials for Joe Boxers. Nothing compares to the first Joe Boxer commercial, with the guy dancing to the music. He sways side to side and at one point, he hops like a rabbit and he doesn't say a word. Admit it, when you hear a certain sound or rhythm, people have a tendency to dance to it, whether it's in front of the mirror or in the bedroom. That is what this is trying to come across to the audience. It's saying that you can be yourself, and feel relax, when you wear Joe Boxers. I could be wrong in this interruption, but this is what I believe it is telling us. It's very entertaining and always puts a smile on my face, regardless to what mood that I am in.
The new commercials have girls in it and guys and there is some dialogue. To me that ruins the premise. Stick to people acting and dancing silly to music without any dialogue. Ok, I have said my peace.
Ok, after not getting my full hours of beauty sleep last night. I thought that I can catch a few minutes of napping. Unfortunately, it never happened. My train came in time at the station and I had to sit behind a guy, who starts talking out loud to himself. He rambled on about his father, finances, the world and etc. People sort of glanced at him and tried to ignore it. It wasn't his rambling that annoyed me, but it was his southern accent. He started saying that his dad was German and Spanish decent and he is Filipino. Yet he had a very strong southern accent, go figure. Finally, he got off for his stop and I got to take a short 20 minute nap.
One word....Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuce! That was all that was heard through out the Compaq Arena, on August 27, 2002. The BOSS put on a flawless performance. Personally, I am not that much of a fan, but after listening to a few of his songs "other than the ones I am familiar with" and seeing him live in concert, consider me a fan. The concert started out with songs from his recent cd and he threw in a few of his oldies but goodies. I seen musical acts, from pop, dance and some rap artists. But they don't compare to Springsteen. The audience consist of old and young people. To me Springsteen seemed like a very serious artist. Last night's performance proved different. Bruce seemed relaxed and he was having a fun time with his band. It was a different side of Bruce, that I have ever seen. He was dancing and just having fun. The audience was having a great time, dancing, singing and enjoying themselves. Watching Clarence Clemens play the saxophone reminded me so much of my father, "he played the alto and tenor sax."
Thank you Bruce and the E Street Band for finding the way to San Jose and for putting an excellent show! And a very special thanks to my hunny for taking me. =0)
What is it with the doors on mass transit? My Cal Train was delayed about 5 minutes, because of a malfunction with the doors. Then my co worker, calls in saying the doors on muni "the one that runs underground" is having problems with the doors. We have two people out of the office, one had the day scheduled off and the other one called in sick. Thank goodness there are 4 more days and then the three day weekend! Woohooooo!
Actually, a new home. Finally, a week early, but I have succeeded with the help of my hunnay, moved all my things. Now, I just have to make some room and put them away. I left a neighborhood that I grew up in for 35 years. But I still work in San Francisco, so I haven't exactly left the place. It's a very nice feeling to wake up to his adorable face and to kiss him good night.
Home Sweet Home....
I missed most of the show, cause I was busy having my computer set up at my NEW HOME! I only got the chance, to see the ending part of the it. Jason made his decision, through tears and kind words. He chose Gerry and Amy as his nominations for eviction. It's up to the rest of the house mates to decide who will be evicted. Most likely, it will be Amy as planned, to be evicted. She was originally evicted and got the chance to come back, they feel she shouldn't get a chance to win the game. Stay tuned..
