No Roaring Today

Woke up this morning with no voice or at least somewhat of a voice. Could it be the change of weather? Or is it that it is, Friday the Thirteenth? Yesterday, I had a sore throat. Throat is feeling better but voice is gone. Hopefully this is a temporary thing. Oh well, it's FRIDAY!!!!!!!

Now There Are Four

Well, here's the update. Jason became the head of household. Tonight's episode was 2 hours. The first hour, he nominated the duo, Marcellas and Amy. I missed the first hour, but was updated during the second hour. Seems that Marcellas won the gold power of veto. This means that he can save himself and use it or he can save Amy. Now if Marcellas vetoes himself, this puts Jason in an awkward position. One, Marcellas can nominate Jason if he should win the next head of household in retaliation. Or he can nominate Danielle also. Danielle is afraid that Marcellas will be a threat and she wants him out. Marcellas made a deal with Lisa to ban together and try and break up the Jason and Danielle team. Danielle is hoping Jason will be on her side and tells him that they will be the last two remaining. So, it was time for Marcellas to make his choice. He chose not to use the veto. Buzz....wrong choice. Danielle and Lisa voted for each of them and Jason had to break the tie breaker. To secure him and Danielle, he had to vote Marcellas out. Before he said his decision, he told Marcellas, you should have used the veto. Marcellas is out! Now, it's time for the head of household competition. Jason is not allowed to compete, since he is the current one. He is hoping that Danielle can win. Fact: Danielle has never been nominated to be evicted and most importantly it took her 69 days in the house to finally and I do mean finally win! So, she has to decide who to nominate for eviction. She has to choose two, doubt if Jason will be one of them, cause that is her partner in crime. It might possibly be Lisa and Amy. Then again, strategy will be made in Danielle's part. Stay tuned...the competition is winding down and in a week there will be a winner.

Is This Eerie Or What?

And I am not talking about the lake. Hahaha
Seems that in the New York lottery yesterday, the numbers "9-1-1" were chosen. At first I wasn't sure if this was true or not. As I was listening to my Walkman radio on my train ride, this was mentioned but I didn't get what city it was. Well, thanks to MSN, there was an article posted. Seems that there were a few people who picked those numbers and others were fairly reluctant to choose such numbers cause of the tragedy and all. Coincidence or just plain strange.....

One Year After The Tragedy

Well, it's been a year since 9/11. Remembering that fateful day and vigils for those who lost their loved ones, are some of the events going on. Personally, life goes on and something like this was not expected. I guess we have to expect the unexpected. I am very honored to be able to view "Ground Zero" six months later. To see the devastation and to be standing there with so many people who were effected by this. There was not a dry eye or a word spoken as we viewed the empty space before us. That moment and feeling will be with me forever....
