The Final Two

Now, it's only Danielle and Lisa vying for the big prize in "Big Brother 3." Lisa won the head of household and voted Jason out. Not sure if this was a wise choice, cause Danielle is the tough player. Now it's up to those who were evicted, to choose who they want to win. Danielle may not have that many votes on her side, cause of her manipulation and deceit. Lisa might possibly be the winner, but then again, she doesn't have that many people on her side. This Wednesday, we will all know the answer...

Survivor: Thailand

Last night was the first episode of this installment. Location: Jungles of Thailand. The two tribes: Chuay Gahn means"To Help One Another" and Sook Jai means "Happy Heart." The team leaders were chosen by the eldest female and male. Each leader got the choice to pick the team members, they were given their team bandanas and which part of the island they wanted to be on (not knowing the conditions and environment).
CHUAY GAHN (Orange team)
Members on this tribe are: Ted, Ghadia, Tanya, John, Helen, Clay, Brian and Jan. Highlights: Home Sweet Home, the tribe canoed their way to their new home. Checking the atmosphere and surroundings. They had caves, fresh oysters and crab. There was some snake tracks. So, there are some snakes on the island. They made beds out of bamboo leaves. The water source was found, so they had fresh water. Unnecessary scene: Tanya vomiting, did they have to show her actually throwing up. It was shown 2 times. gross... Seems that she was dehydrated and she had a weak stomache. John seems to be the wannabe leader. He's giving commands and telling people what to do. This tribe consists of older and a few young people. But there really is much muscle strength here.
Sook Jai (Purple team)
Members on this tribe are: Erin, Jake, Jed, Ken, Penny, Robb, Shii Ann and Stephanie. Highlights: Getting settled in. Robb, the team idiot, doing his imitation of tarzan (swinging on a vine), which was not hard for this "dude". The others started climbing the trees to get some coconuts. Robb was very concerned about his skateboard. Like is it neccessary to have one on this island? Robb was getting in Shii Ann's face, taunting her about not doing anything and he is doing all the hands work. She was pissed and was getting ready to smack him. The tribe was trying to make shelter for themselves, cause a monsoon was coming. Instead of building a roof first, they started on the floor. Well, it poured and they got soaking wet. To top things off, they haven't eaten any food or found any food for 3 days. This tribe has the fit people but not much of any skills or smarts.
Competition time..There are 3 obstacles. Each team has to canoe out to the first destination. One person chosen for this obstacle has to maneuver a string through a maze and release their flag. They must grab their flag, swim to the canoe and go to the second destination. There a box crate is floating in the middle of the ocean. Another and different person dives down, unhooks and swims back to the canoe with the their flag. Last destination, there is a game with sliding puzzles, one of the parts has a knife, you must maneuver and slide that part through the opening. Grab the knife, cut the flag down and canoe to the finish line. In the beginning, CHUAY GAHN was in the far lead, but the trouble came when Ghandia got a bit nervous and anxious when she was trying to figure out the last obstacle. That is how they lost and SOOK JAI won!
The winner gets immunity and doesn't have to eliminate anyone. The loser...has to vote someone off the island.
Triba Council
I was thinking that Ghandia would be voted out, but I was wrong. She started crying when they lost, cause she knew she cost the game. John got the most votes and he was sent off the island. All the others started to get teary eyed when he walked handed his torch and the fire was distinguished.
My Opinion
Doubt if I will be paying too much attention to this show. Cause of the line up. Friends will be shown at this time slot and there are others shows going on too. Most likely I may loose interest or just check the website for updates. At this point, I have no idea who I would want to win in this competition.

Amy Finally Gets The Boot For Good

Yes, Amy was evicted from the Big Brother 3 house. Now it's just Lisa, Danielle and Jason. Saturday's show will decide who will be Head of Household. The winner of this, get to evicted one of the other two housemates out. Wow, that was quick. Then on Wednesday, September 25, will be the show finally. The ten evicted guests return back and will cast their vote on the winner. This is the first time I have kept up with a reality show for this long. Usually most of the shows are not that interesting or appealing. But this one differs. The other two shows before this didn't peek my interest. The housemates then weren't intriguing. I'm rooting for local girl, Fairfield resident, Danielle, to win. Lisa is very sweet and down to earth and so is Jason. So, honestly it's a toss up. The winner will be known next Wednesday.

Not A Very Good Morning

I must of been pretty worn out yesterday. From working out at the gym and my stroll home from the train station. Fell fast asleep, woke up at 12:35 a.m. (nature called) and then at 4:33. Next thing, my hunnay wakes me and says it's almost 6 p.m.. Jumped out of bed, took a shower, got dressed and went out the door. I drove to the train station and when I was walking to the platform, I realized that I don't have my house key! So....how was your morning?

Speaking Of Commercials

Besides the "Joe Boxer Boogie" commercial. The Gap commercials started to came to mind. Recently, they have had some famous people doing a little dance and some singing. I love their holiday commercials, where they have musicians sing there version of a Christmas classic. Or when they had a group of people singing that song by Depeche Mode, "I Just Can't Get Enough." They have real cool commercials. =0)

Lights, Camera and Action...Again

This time, it was not a television series that was being filmed. It was a commercial for Volkswagon and it was being filmed right on the top mezzanine in my office building. My department has this huge glass window that over looks the deck and every now and then we tend to check out the people sitting there. Today, there were the crew, cameras, lighting and equipment. Word through the office was that it's for a commercial. We saw the star of the commercial, a geeky type guy, sort of like a young Bill Gates. There were extras and the star of the commercial had to change four times. As we were standing and watching the action, people looked up at us every now and then. One of the guys who work for the building management, held up a sign saying "Volkswagon Commercial." That was very cute and nice of him. Few of the people we waved at, mostly men. Heehee
I can't wait to see the commercial when it becomes released. Wonder if I will be able to recognize?

Big Brother 3 Update

Wasn't sure if there was a show last night, cause of the college football schedule, but there was one! I didn't get to see the show, but I got updated through the net.
Here's what happened: The housemates got the opportunity to call a loved one or just anyone they wanted to call. This is what is called "The Luxury Competition." It seems that each person has won a 3 minute call and a $1000 gift certificate for a loved one. She tells them that they have to find their T mobile phone, once this is found, she calls each person in the diary room. First one up, is Danielle. Chen tries and sweetens it a bit with each person. She offers Danielle $5000 with the phone call and $1000 if she accepts it. She was also told that the others will be offered the same and if she doesn't accept and the others do, she wins nothing. This was very confusing to me. To make this short... Danielle accepted the offer of $5,000. Amy was offered $10,000, she accepted it. Lisa was offered $15,000, she declined it and felt that the others deserved the phone call and Jason was offered $15,000, he accepted this. To determine the winner, it was by elimination and Amy ended up the winner. So, she got her phone call, the $1000 gift certificate for a loved one and additional to that, $10,000.
Poor Jason. He is the only male and there are three females. They were treating him like a butler. Ordering him around and teasing him about being a virgin. Danielle is trying very carefully to treat the others in a well mannered way. Reason why is, that she wants to assure herself a chance to win the game.
Danielle makes her nominations. Amy, Lisa and Jason are a bit nervous about this. Lisa and Amy are up for eviction. It is up to Jason, to decide who will be the next to be evicted. Will it be Amy (who was already evicted, but got a second chance to be in the game) or Lisa? We shall see.....
