Gung Hay Fat Choy!

It's that time of year...Chinese New Year! And it's the year of the black sheep. I was born in the year of the Sheep or Ram (whichever one they prefer to call it). Woohoo! It's my year! baaaaaaa =0)

In celebration for this, there is the traditional Chinese New Year's Parade held on February 15 in San Francisco. As a child, me and the family, would go and watch. But as the year's go by, more and more people started to attend.

I especially love watching the lion dance. Their costumes and the rhythm of the music is very enjoyable to watch. It gets a bit tiring to watch, when you see one lion dance and then another. Sounds of firecrackers and people exchanging or giving red Chinese envelopes.

14 Days To Valentine's Day

Well...the Sweet One wanted to do something different and creative for Valentine's Day. I got the idea from surfing the net and came across creative things to do for Valentines.

Starting with the first day of February. I took 8 1/2 by 11 red paper, then I cut out 13 hearts, and 13 boxes. Each box has the 14 days written on it. In each box, is a heart. On each heart, there is a hint of what my Hunny will get for that day. Finding the little "special things" for each day, was not an easy task. But I was able to think of 14 things for each day.

For instance, today was the 1st day! So, he pulled out the heart from it's pocket and read it....Hint: Fill in the blank. Belly_______
Well, he guessed "button." He opened his gift and found a button pin, with a bear and the words, "Hugs and Kisses" on it.

It makes me happy to see the joy and happiness on his face when he got his gift. Tomorrow is day 2, stay tuned.

Space Shuttle Columbia Landing...Ends Up In Tragedy

The skies were filled with some dark clouds and the atmosphere was a bit gloomy. Early this morning, the space shuttle was re-entering the earth's atmosphere and very slowly began leaving debris all over the state. It crashed in central Texas on Saturday, taking the lives of all seven astronauts on board. Family members of the shuttle crew, which included the first even Israeli astronaut, were gathered on the landing strip to greet their loved ones when news of the tragedy emerged. NASA officials quickly huddled the relatives into a shuttle and kept them in seclusion at the Kennedy Space Center.

This brings back memories of another tragedy that occurred 17 years ago...The space shuttle Challenger, burst into flames as it was taking off. The whole crew of 7, were perished.

Sympathies go out to the families of: Rick Husband, Pilot William McCool, Payload Commander Michael Anderson, Mission Specialist Kapana Chawla, Mission Specialist David Brown, Mission Specialist Laurel Clark and Israeli Payload Ilan Ramon.

Their body and soul may be gone..but their spirits will forever live in our memories. Peace

The Bachelorette Is Down To Three

I didn't see the entire show and was ables to see the last 45 minutes of it. Seems that Trista got to visit each of the guy's family and hometown. I saw the part where she met Charlie's family. They got to know her and she got to know them. It seemed that they had a great time. Then Trista left and it was family discussion time. Charlie's family seemed a bit skeptic. They wanted to make sure that Charlie is ok with Trista and the "hollywood thing," as they put it. They mentioned her being a Miami Heat cheerleader, the attention and hollywood glamour that she is been part of and her thoughts of going back to being a pediatric child therapist. Charlie's mom was very pleased to hear that Trista has a degree in pediatric therapy, cause she is in the same field. And that Trista wants to have children, which pleases his parents.

It was time for the rose ceremony. This made it very special, cause it was Trista's 30th birthday! Each of the guys, got to meet Trista privately and present her with gifts.

First was Ryan. Ryan gives her flowers, a poem and a drawing of a white tiger that he drew himself. She loved very much!

Then it was Greg. Greg sang her a rap song. Then he presented her with a book, that had all the lyrics of the songs, that he sang to her through the course of the show.

Russ was next and he said he was a bit nervous. He presented her with a framed photo of a sunset that he took himself.

Charlie was last and he gave her a little silver frog with a gold crown, a memento that he hopes she'll find her Prince Charming. Now that was sweet.

Each gift meant sentimental value to Trista, but she had to let one of them go. And that one was.....Greg. Trista felt, that they were both trying to hard. He felt hurt and was hoping to show her, how great of a guy, that he is. But he won't be able to get that chance.

One Of The Three Finalists From "Millionare" Has A Secret

Not sure what the big hub bub is. One of the three finalists in Fox's hit "Joe Millionaire" has starred in dozens of bondage and fetish films under a pseudonym. Sarah Kozer, 29, starred in movies such as "Novices in Knots" and "Hogtied," and a foot-fetish film "Dirty Soled Dolls," according to the Web site The Smoking Gun. The site said Kozer was clothed in her movie appearances, which included being gagged and hog-tied in a cheerleader's uniform. She also ties up other characters. I've seen some of the pictures and they don't seem that scandalous.

Kozer, one of a trio of women still hoping to land "Joe Millionaire" Evan Marriott in the Fox series, was shown this week sneaking off into the darkness for a tryst with him. I missed that episode. To my surprise, Mojo "Melissa Jo", was not chosen. She was surprised too but said it was his lost.

Is This A Trend, Among The Famous?

Actor, Zack Galligan, famous for his role in "Gremlins" and "Gremlins 2". Galligan, 38, was arrested Wednesday for attempting to pilfer a Deep Purple CD from a West Hollywood Tower Records store and was nabbed by store security in the Tower parking lot on the Sunset Strip after he allegedly pocketed the disc and walked out without paying for it.

He was then transferred into police custody and taken down to the local sheriff's station where he was booked on a petty theft shoplifting charge and released four hours later. "It was a routine shoplifting arrest. We do 'em all day, every day," Jay Smith, Tower's general manager, told the Associated Press. "We had no idea who he was until after the fact. We don't single anybody out." After his arrest, Galligan did own up to his boneheaded move, reportedly telling deputies, "This is stupidest thing I've ever done."

He had the money and credit cards in his wallet to do so. (Is he hoping his sticky-fingered bust will result in some Winona Ryder (news)-worthy coverage from the press?)

Tampa Bay Are Super Bowl Champs!

Ok, honestly, it didn't matter to me, who won. The main thing was the score. I took part in a football pool and didn't win anything. It was close, but Raiders couldn't pull through, to have me at least win one freakin quarter.
Final score....Tampa Bay 48 and Raiders 21.

The best team won and that team was Tampa Bay. Congratulations to Jon Gruden and his team.
