More like a BayWatch reunion. Cast members from the long running series reunite for a wedding. Legend lifeguard, Mitch Buchanan, played by David Hasselhoff. I don't remember about the final show of the season, but I read somewhere that Mitch was blown to pieces. Only episode I remember or read about, was when he and Neely got married.
Mitch is reunited with fellow hardbodies, Yasmine Bleeth, Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra, Billy Warlock, Nicole Eggert, Brande Roderick, Michael Bergen, Alexandra Paul and Gena Lee Nolin.
Seems that Mitch met a woman, who looks so much like Stephanie, (she was a lifeguard, sister to Yasmine Bleeth's character and love interest to Mitch) who died in a boating accident. Little does Mitch know that is new love and fiance, is part of plan for revenge, by an old advasery from his past.
In the opening credits, they show the cast, old clips and a recent shot of them. The guys haven't changed, but the women have. Gena Lee, looked like she put on some pounds. Some of the female casts, didn't wear the skimpy outfits that they used to. Yasmine Bleeth doesn't wear a bikini at all. Maybe a bikini top, but that's it. Pamela Anderson is shown lying on the beach with a two piece bikini and a crowd of men are drooling and checking her out.
There were a lot of shots of the beautiful beach of Los Angeles. Women and men in beach wear. Slow motion shots of the lifeguards, running on the beach and saving people. Showing off their looks with the Ray Ban sunglasses and nicely tanned bodies.
So, this old nemesis kidnaps three couples. One couple is tied to a rock, in the water, and there is lava in the water. This is being videotaped by the bad guy, for Mitch to see. Then couple number two, is in a tank of water and they are struggling to get some air and can't get out, this is also being videotaped. Couple number three, have their hands and legs tied and they are on the beach with the tide coming in.
Seems that this old adversary was a friend of Mitch awhile ago and something happened, where he served time in jail. His son was taken away from him. He blames Mitch for this and he seeks revenge. He meets a woman, who was in jail and looks similiar to Stephanie. He had her have plastic surgery to look like her and for her to be a part of his evil plan. Well in the end, the lifeguards save the day. The nemesis get chopped up by a boats propeller and Mitch's love interest, gets arrested.
There was a wedding, Pamela Anderson's character, CJ gets married to the head waiter at her beach club. He is shown only once through the whole movie.
I really didn't care to much for the slow motion shots, but it was nice to see the old gang together again.
