It will be called, "Ocean's Twelve" involves Danny Ocean (George Clooney) and his gang of hustlers from the first film (Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle, Matt Damon, Carl Reiner) heading off to England to pull off three heists, with a very mad and frustrated Andy Garcia sending his hitmen after them. This time, however, Julia Roberts is the twelfth in the gang of thieves, hence the name, "Ocean's Twelve."
Danny Ocean (Clooney), reignited flame Tess (Roberts) and the rest of a band of thieves and con men (some returning and some new), team up for another three huge heists, but this time they're in three different locations (Rome, London and Berlin) (perhaps handled by three groups of four thieves each?). Meanwhile, casino owner Terry Benedict (Garcia), whom Ocean and crew ripped off in Las Vegas, is hot on their tail, looking for revenge...
My sweetheart and I saw the latest version of "Freaky Friday." Starring, Jamie Lee Curtis as the mom, Lindsay Lohan as the daughter, Mark Harmon as the fiance, Harold Gould as grandpa and Ryan Malgarini as younger brother, Harry.
Dr. Tess Coleman (Jamie Lee Curtis) and her fifteen-year-old daughter, Anna (Lindsay Lohan), are not getting along. They don't see eye-to-eye on clothes, hair, music, and certainly not in each other's taste in men. One Thursday evening, their disagreements reach a fever pitch - Anna is incensed that her mother doesn't support her musical aspirations and Tess, a widow about to remarry, can't see why Anna won't give her fiance (Mark Harmon) a break. Everything soon changes when two identical Chinese fortune cookies cause a little mystic mayhem. The next morning, their Friday gets freaky when Tess and Anna find themselves inside the wrong bodies. As they literally walk a mile in each other's shoes, they gain a little newfound respect for the other's point of view. But with Tess's wedding coming on Saturday, the two have to find a way to switch back - and fast.
Harry, played by Ryan Malgarini is cute and mischievous as the younger brother. I liked this movie. It was cute and very funny. Mothers and daughters can pretty much relate to this movie.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to enjoy it, until later in the evening. I put in some over time, to try and catch up with my work. To my amazement, there were a few co workers, who came in also.
I did as much as I could, but I have to admit, I was pretty tired. Waking up this morning, was very difficult for me to open my eyes. They seem to just want to go back to bed and sleep. But we had to go to the gym, eat breakfast and head on to the office.
It's great to leave work and be greeted by my sweetheart of a husband.
I loved this movie. It was well scripted. Only problem, it was subtitled, so it took a bit to understand the film. It's been awhile since I've seen it. I've only seen it once, but it got great reviews.
It's about a married man, who falls in love with dancing, the waltz. He has no rhythm or coordination. He sees this attractive woman and follows her to a dance studio. She teaches there and he signs up. He starts to learn it and they develop a friendship. She gets an offer to teach elsewhere, the movie is based in Japan, I think. There is a competition towards the end, he approaches her and asks her, "shall we dance??" Now isn't that cute?
There were rumors and no it's official. Jennifer Lopez and Richard Gere will be starring. I'm very curious to see how this version will be, compared to the one, that I just mentioned.
I will have to wait next year, to cast my judgment.
Ok, who would have thought, that these two characters would actually meet? "Friday the Thirteen" saga and "Nightmare On Elm Street," attracted crowds in the theaters. But after the first 3 installments, I started to lose interest. The premise of the movies, were basically the same.
The first and second ones, were full of suspense and pretty gory. Made me jump out of my seat and at times, I would hide my face.
With the latest one, being released. I tend to wonder... Freddy only exists in your dreams and Jason was a proprietor at Crystal Lake (I think that is where, he originated from). How these two meet, will be a mystery. I am not sure if Jason sleeps. It seems that these two never die.
Back when the movies were popular, a group of my friends, were just joking about "what if Freddy met Jason?"
Well, everyone will soon find out, who will survive between the two of them? Maybe, Michael Myers (from Halloween) might make a special appearance. Anything is possible.
My darling hubby, took me out for a birthday lunch, at the Cheese Cake Factory. I've been to the one in San Francisco and the wait, was a little over an hour. We went to the one in San Jose and it was only a 10 minute wait!
We both shared a cobb salad and meatloaf (with broccoli and sauteed onions). The servings was a large mount. There were leftovers, so we had it packed in a doggie bag, to take home. For dessert, I had an apple crisp and Bill, had a chocolate fudge cake. My tummy was satisfied and stuffed.
After, lunch, we went over to "Build Your Own Bear Workshop." I picked out a bear, I helped put the stuffing, I gave it a heart, made a wish and put the heart in and someone sewed it up. Then I filled out the birth certificate and got to take it home. It's a he and his name is, Orlando.
The weather was very beautiful, I had a great lunch and I got a bear. What more can any birthday gurl ask for?
Most of all, I have a wonderful husband.
Thank you sweetie, for being part of my life and this day a special one.
Me Me Me!! Yes, it's ma burday! I'm 36 and not ashame to say it.
I went to check my e mails and well I didn't receive any mail. I have a personal page and the headlines read, "happy birthday". That is sweet.
Here's what my horoscope read...
If you're single, dear Leo, you may find yourself feeling a very powerful attraction to someone who is unusual and perhaps a little wacky. If you're already romantically involved, you could well catch a glimpse of a silly and rather insane side of your beloved that you've never seen before. This could be a bit disconcerting, but it should also make you laugh. That's part of the appeal of love - continuously learning about that special one. Enjoy!
Not only is it my birthday, it's also our 3 month wedding anniversary!
