Actually, it's already here! Last night was the first night for "Ringling Bros. Barney and Bailey Circus," to perform at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, Ca. The arena is only a five minute walk, from where I work. I went with a co-worker and her friend to the performance.
It was crowded, getting into the arena and to our seats. During intermission, going to the restrooms, leaving the arena and walking back to the parking garage. All through the night, I felt like cattle. Ha Ha Ha
This was the first time, that I have been at a circus. I've seen it in television, but never live. I had a great time. There were clowns, elephants (the baby elephant was nervous, it went boom boom), tigers, horses, zebras, dogs, dancing women, acrobatics, gymnast, and motor cylcists. The ringmaster had an awesome voice. There were 3 stages.
Highlights: Chinese gymnast, trapeze acts, the dancing horses, tigers, canine circus, and Bello (the star clown). Throughout the show, he would appear. Bella has hair, that is standing up, this coincides with his hair raising antics. He was on the tight rope, playing around with the tight rope artist. Bello pulls out the smallest bicycle and rides it across the tight rope.
Applause to the clean up crew! During the performance, the cleaning crew, manage to do their work and not interrupt the show. They moved quick and cleaned up very fast, you can't tell their was a mess.
Bad thing, my hubby, complained of the odor on me, when I got home. =0(
My wonderful and loving hubby, cooked me a delicious mouth watering thick chateaubriand, courtesy of Schaub's meat market (located near the Stanford Mall, in Palo Alto, California).
This a show on Bravo. There's a group of 5 guys, who make over a regular "joe". Yesterday, I saw one of their episodes.
The Queer squad are; Kyan (he's in charge of grooming), Ted (he's in charge of food and wine connoisseur), Carson (fashion expert), Jai (culture) and Thom (designing).
The regular guy..was this guy, who had very long hair and looks like Bon Jovi/Fabio. He's a fitness trainer and very tanned. He's very close to him mom. His place is not quite fashionable and very poor taste.
They come in and take over his place, wardrobe, appearance and etiquette. Carson, the fashion expert, takes him on a shopping spree for clothes. Thom, the designer, redecorates his apartment and has a California and southern look to it. He had a wallpaper of a palm tree and sunset on one of his bedroom walls. Ted (food and wine) took him to a meat market, to buy food for a dinner party, that this guy will give for his friends and mom later on that day. Kyan (grooming) cut off his long hair and gave him a short hair cut, with some bangs, so he has that tussled hair look. Kyan told him how to mix a mousse and gel together, then apply it to the hair after showing. He also recommended that he shave for the party. Jai taught him how to greet guests and how to mingle. He took him shopping for new CD's for his collection.
It was entertaining. Not that bad, I have seen and heard some worse reality shows.
