Hanukkah Came Early

Well, I got a gift from my wonderful husband. When I got home from work, on our bed, was a new DVD player! Now, I can watch DVD's in the bedroom.

It's 16 days before Hanukkah and he couldn't wait to give it to me. He's a sweetheart.
Thank you sweetie!

Battle of the Bulge

As people get older, weight can be a tough thing to maintain. Teenagers worry about getting fat. They either become anorexic or bulimic. Then there are adults, who get obsessed with staying thin, that it can do serious damage to their health.

Everyone has different opinions. Some people are happy to be overweight. But then you can encounter health problems. Heavy breathing, shortness of breath, sore knees, weak hips and swollen ankles. Due to the weight that the body has to endure.

When I was heavier, than I am now. My feet were hurting and so were my calves. But ever since I lost 30 some pound and exercising, my body is not going through any pain.

It's not easy to lose weight. It's easy to say "I will go on a diet", "eat better" and "join a gym." To actually do those things and maintain it, is another story.

I'm very lucky that I have someone like my husband, to support me and who is also taking part in, eatting and exericising to stay healthy.

Not A Very Good Day For Our Local Teams

Both the San Francisco 49ers and Oakland Raiders lost. No hopes for a playoff spot.

Niners had too many turnovers and they looked so pathetic. I didn't bother watching the game. I was too busy doing my housecleaning chores.

The Raiders game wasn't televised. Due to the tickets sales, the game was blacked out. We heard the game on the radio.

Oh well, maybe next year.
