All I Want

Or aka "Try Seventeen". The movie is about a 17 year old named Jones Dillon (Elijah Wood). Jones enters college and decides to dropout to learn more about life and love from his the other tenants in the apartment building he lives in. There's Jane (Franke Potante famous for such movies as "Run Lola Run" and "Bourne Identity") a photographer who still has feelings for her ex boyfriend. Lisa (Mandy Moore) an aspiring actress. Steve (Chris Martin) a painter and he seems to know the going ons in the building, but does not say a word.

Jones is somewhat of a dreamer and wants to be a writer. His father left him and his mother when he was a small child. Jones only knows very little about him. His mother drinks a lot but comes from a wealthy family. She dates men from around the world. He calls her every now and then to keep in touch.

He keeps a big chest with him. The movie shows him typing a letter to his dad, but he never sends the letter out. Instead he keeps all of them in the chest. His thoughts and imaginations are in those letters.

It's funny and interesting how the movie shows his daydreams and you try to guess if its reality or just a dream sequence.
Deborah Harry has a small part where she plays a furniture owner who sells some things to Jones. Then there's a dream sequence with she jumps all over Jones and starts ripping his clothes off.

His name is Zorro

My darling of a husband got me a fish. We went to the pet store to pick up the necessary stuff for the newest member.

A mini blue aquarium (2 gallons), some plants and gravel. Oh and last but not least a beta fish. He's blue with a touch of red.

Bill got to name him. =0)
